Software Platforms
According to the investment plan of Profile Technologies, the company is expected to produce/create and distribute enterprise software solutions.
This software will be offered as independent solutions that enable case-specific monitoring and management of cryptocurrency portfolios, calculation of stock volatility to assist users in making appropriate investment decisions, as well as the development of a strategy for pairs trading (trading pairs of securities). The company will also provide a web-based front-end layer User Interface with expanded platform capabilities to serve the broader Banking industry. Lastly, the management of financing for imports and exports in international trade (trade finance) is included in the scope.
The five developed applications will be available for licensing in both Greece and abroad, specifically for the client base that the parent company Profile Systems & Software already serves. These applications will be distributed digitally (either through physical media like optical discs or USB sticks, or via downloadable means on the internet, with the potential for providing enhancements such as updates and service packs also through downloads). They will come with installation, customization, maintenance, and support services.
The applications are aimed at Banks, Consulting and Asset & Portfolio Management companies as well as private investors for the purpose of managing and monitoring their investment portfolios.
Cryptocurrency Portfolio Tracking Application
The application provides investors with the capability to stay informed about the real-time status of their cryptocurrency portfolios through the internet. It offers information about cryptocurrency prices and their evolution in real time.
Specifically, the application allows users to add the cryptocurrencies they wish to monitor from a list of tradable cryptocurrencies. Users can also define the quantity they hold for each cryptocurrency by conducting transactions. Through the application, users can track the value of their portfolio and the profit/loss per cryptocurrency based on current prices.
Furthermore, the application enables users to create, customize, and activate personalized notifications that are based on changes in cryptocurrency prices. This feature allows users to receive alerts tailored to their preferences and investment strategies.
Shares Volatility Calculation Application
Historical stock price volatility is a measure of past performance and a long-term form of risk assessment. Therefore it is widely used by analysts to create investment strategies. The application predicts the probability that a share will be above or below a certain price on a selected date in the future, thus providing the investor with the opportunity to take the appropriate positions (long, short) after calculating the probability of an increase or decrease in their price.
Application of Elaboration of Trading Strategy in Value Pairs
The historical volatility of stock prices serves as a performance measure of the past, allowing for a long-term assessment of the risk an investor undertakes. Consequently, it’s widely utilized by analysts for crafting investment strategies.
The application provides the capability to predict the likelihood of a stock being above or below a specific target price on a chosen future date. This prediction occurs within a user-defined timeframe. This functionality empowers the investor to make informed decisions (long or short positions) based on the calculated probability of the stock’s price either rising or falling to the user-specified target price level.
PROFILE One Platform
The platform has been designed to offer a fully functional web-based front-end layer User Interface (UI), presenting an extended platform with the capacity to serve the Banking industry and the wider Financial Sector. This user interface creates an intuitive workspace for internal users and provides clearer and more user-friendly visualization of information extracted from one or multiple back-end systems. This enhances user experience and offers an all-encompassing view (360-degree perspective) for internal users within a bank or financial service.
In practice, individual distinct user interfaces (UIs) for internal users are replaced with a modern, unified, and consistent interface. This interface functions as the singular point of contact for users with the Bank, catering to all Front, Middle, and Back Office functions, as well as connected back-end systems. Profile One ensures flexibility and user-friendliness, satisfying intricate and evolving business requirements in the global financial management sector.
Initially, the project will focus on developing a web-based front-end UI for the Finuevo Core (formerly FMS.next) product of the parent company Profile Software. However, future integration of additional back-end systems, including third-party systems, is also a possibility under consideration.
Trade Finance Platform
The specific platform is a banking enterprise application software designed for managing trade finance operations. It is targeted towards global banks, aiming to assist them in managing their tasks related to financing international trade (imports and exports), which pose significant challenges for traders.
Trade finance represents the financial instruments and products used by companies to facilitate international trade and trade in general. The financing of trade transactions enables and streamlines transactions between importers and exporters. Trade financing is a broad term encompassing various financial products used by banks and companies to facilitate commercial transactions. The financing of trade transactions can contribute to reducing the risks associated with global trade by aligning the divergent needs of an exporter and an importer.
